Born in Bombay and having lived across three countries by the age of eighteen, I developed an early fascination with how historical forces, cultural identities, and economic systems shape the modern world. Today, as an Economics and International Relations double major at the University of Delaware, I study the friction between global diplomatic strategy, international governance, and domestic economic policy.My work centers on analyzing complex global systems through both qualitative and quantitative lenses. At seventeen, I published my debut non-fiction book, India’s Kaleidoscope: Looking Inward, Outward and Forward, which examines national identity and the global positioning of a developing nation. Driven by a commitment to interdisciplinary dialogue, I co-founded The Social Canvas in 2023, a student-led publication designed to elevate non-STEM commentary on world affairs.
Alongside my writing, I engage in academic research, global policy analysis, and university leadership.At the University of Delaware, I have contributed as a research assistant on the MATRS project by cataloging and verifying historical treaty data, served as a Teaching Assistant in Global Politics, and represented the international student body on university advisory committees. My broader background also includes co-authored research on global malnutrition in collaboration with TribesforGood and Action Against Hunger India, as well as community initiatives with DEAP Qatar.Outside of academics, I read extensively, play the piano, and occasionally play squash.Interested? Professional Experience
As an incoming Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for POSC240: Introduction to Global Politics) (August 2026 - Present) in the Department of Political Science & International Relations at the University of Delaware, I will be guiding a cohort of over 25 students in global political systems and international relations theory under the mentorship of Dr. Robert A. Denemark. Handpicked as one of four TAs for the course, I will serve as a vital link between students and the instructional team, breaking down complex theoretical frameworks, foreign policy decisions, and international political economy using real-world case studies and current events. Beyond facilitating weekly discussion sections that encourage active, inclusive dialogue, my responsibilities will include running targeted exam review sessions and conducting personalized check-ins to help students overcome academic hurdles and succeed in the course.Working as a New Student Orientation Leader at the University of Delaware over the summer (June 2026 - August 2026) was a high-impact crash course in leadership, communication, facilitation, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Selected as one of only 18 leaders responsible for welcoming over 4,000 incoming students, I gained hands-on experience facilitating daily interactive sessions for groups of 18 to 20 undergraduates across both in-person and virtual settings. In this role, I routinely adapted on the fly to fulfill varying responsibilities as an Orientation Leader, Family Orientation Leader, and Floater/Runner. The position sharpened my ability to break down complex university systems into digestible information, foster inclusive environments that encouraged active participation from quiet students, and coordinate large-scale event logistics to ensure seamless execution.
Research experience
In late 2025, I joined the MATRS Project (Multilateral Agreements and Treaties Record Set) as an Undergraduate Research Assistant within the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Delaware. My work focused on India’s multilateral treaty records from 1970 to 1990, a pivotal era in Indian diplomacy. This was not merely an exercise in collecting documents. The MATRS Project is an ambitious effort to document the DNA of global cooperation by building one of the world’s most comprehensive treaty databases from the ground up.Working alongside faculty and alumni, including Professors Robert A. Denemark and Alice Ba of the University of Delaware and Professor Hasan Yönten of Neumann University, I took on the role of a kind of data archaeologist. I examined the United Nations Treaty Series to uncover, verify, and code complex agreements into a consistent format. Through careful categorization, verification, and sustained attention to detail, I helped bridge gaps in the treaty record. The result is a resource that allows researchers to trace how states, particularly in the Global South, have navigated international law and multilateral cooperation over the past several decades.

Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity: As Philanthropy Chair, I direct charitable fundraising strategies and community outreach across a chapter of 60+ members. I also serve as our primary liaison for university-wide service initiatives, ensuring our efforts directly address local community needs.
Blue Hen Squash Club: As President and Founding Member, I drive the club's initial launch by working with school administration and athletics to secure court access, gear, and funding. My efforts center on building strong operational routines, inviting players at any level, and creating a solid framework for long-term community growth.
Student Government Association: As a former Student Affairs Senator during my freshman year, I served as a primary bridge between 20,000 undergraduates and university leadership. My key initiative was developing and launching a campus-wide Civil Discourse module for first-year students to encourage constructive dialogue across differing viewpoints.
The Review: During my time as a Staff Reporter, I covered stories that mattered to the student body, ranging from cultural deep-dives into the legacy of Kali martial arts and campus features, reinforcing that rigorous fact-checking and accuracy are everything.
International Film & Food Club: As former Treasurer, I managed organizational allocations, event budgeting, and financial planning to keep our cultural screenings and community events running smoothly.
French Club & Indian Student Association: I remain an active member in both spaces, whether I'm building my conversational French or participating in major cultural events and campus outreach with the ISA.
